I am currently going through the editing stages of my short film project. Fortunately, editing has been going quite smoothly, and I have therefore accomplished more than I had previously estimated. My idea has changed slightly from what was originally planned; this was due to me and my filming partner working separately on the project in order to achieve better grades. Not too much has been changed though – a young girl with schizophrenia is still the protagonist, its just how I portray the girl and the order the shots have been cut up. I think the editing that I have already completed, but still inted to work on, looks visually interesting and works well. There are a couple of things I still need to include in my short film before the deadline comes:

I have to contact Fidel to produce a music track that samples ‘Innocence’ by Nero – this is to be used for the opening establishing shots of the film.

Cut the shots to the beat of the song
·
Add effects to the timeline, after it has been completed – this includes adding the time to the screen in order to get the CCTV affect
·
I also have to produce titles that can be added to the beginning and end of the film
